Perton First School

Dream, Believe, Achieve

Welcome to Our School

We would like to warmly welcome you to the Perton First School Family.  Here, everything starts with our wonderful children, and we have designed an environment for them which nurtures their mind, body and soul to develop a happy, healthy and well-rounded citizen of the world – a child who can live and enjoy life to the full. Our curriculum is the beating heart of our school and our aim is that our children are both “interesting and interested”. We want them to be ‘interesting’ to talk to because they know a great deal about the world and ‘interested’ in finding out more.

Our children have big ambitions and high expectations of themselves. Our children’s voices drive and shape our school , which enables every child to develop academically, emotionally, creatively, socially and physically.

Our children are exposed to high quality experiences and learning opportunities with a large element of choice and need for independent thinking.  They are immersed in experiences with visits or off timetable days of discovery.  This strengthens the message that our curriculum is ‘built in’ and not ‘bolted on’.  We are Romans, Anglo Saxons, Egyptians, explorers, artists, athletes, musicians and scientists, morning, noon and night.  We really do ‘dive right in!’

We are incredibly proud of our pupils who are kind, caring and have a real love of learning. We are so proud of their individual talents and their positive approach to learning coupled with their inquisitive minds. They are a credit to their parents and our school!

Why not come and see for yourself – you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from the Perton First School family!

Warmest wishes,

Mrs Anne Bennett & Mrs Emily Harris
