We love reading at Perton First School! In Reception, we develop the foundations needed to become a super reader, we use Phonics Bug Club as our scheme and we absolutely love it! The children love this special time of the day and it builds on our skills to develop a 'love for reading' and builds on our Literacy skills.

  • Phonics Flashcards on Ships! This is a fantastic resource that will help your child become familiar with the sounds they have learnt already!
