Children's Page
This term we are learning about traditional tales and how these stories are structured. We will also be using our new learning to make predictions and extend our story language even more. We will be recording our story telling to send to a local nursing home for the residents to hear our story.
Hook Question....
What is your favourite traditional tale and why?
In our classroom we have a
Vocabulary Vault
In Reception we love to learn new and exciting words
to build on to our existing vocabulary. We call these STAR WORDS. This links closely to our project. We use them daily in our learning.
Here are some of our brilliant self- portraits titled

Learning from Home....
J2e platform
Here at Perton First School, we thrive on making learning accessible to all children. We are ensuring that we are able to offer learning opportunities that are closely matched to those that would take place in the classroom, through our learning platform. This maximises opportunities for all children to learn and work can be set online for your child to work on at home, should your child need to self-isolate It is a useful link for us to have with parents/carers and enables us to work together as much as we can. We set our Maths homework weekly on J2e.

We can celebrate successes, share messages, send reminders and also photographs of your children at work. You will receive a personal log in to access this fantastic resource.
