Think Tank

On Thursday 9th November, we had an amazing time at the Birmingham Think Tank!

Some of our favourite things were:

  • Taking off and exploring the solar system in the Night Dome.

  • Spotting stars and hearing Greek stories about how they believed the stars got there.

  • Enjoying the amazing role play in 'Kids City'- we have some future paramedics and plumbers in our midst!

  • Playing and investigating forces in the incredible Science Garden!

  • Trying not to fall in the water when crossing the stepping stones...

  • Looking at machinery and transport from the last 100 years.

  • Going on the 'City of Birmingham' steam engine and watching the amazing 'Smethwick Machine' moving and pouring gallons of water.

  • We had a wonderful day, full of smiles and lots of learning. A huge well done to our children, who despite their excitement, were excellent ambassadors for our school. Their questions, ideas and enthusiasm for science was infectious and we have reflected lots on what we learned back in school, writing recounts and putting up a lovely display reminding us of our day.
